Wednesday wasn’t an ideal night for Greene Central basketball.

The Rams girls basketball team fell 72-18 against the Warriors. They only trailed 10-4 at the end of the first quarter, but a 12-0 run to start the second broke the game open. Greene Central falls to 4-10 on the season. Freshman guard Kamia Frazier had six points to lead the Rams.

On the boys side, the Rams struggled to score in a 43-35 loss. Greene Central shot 1-16 from three point range and 4-11 from the free throw line. Senior guard Kentrell Suggs led the way with 16 points. However, the Rams record goes to 7-6 with this loss.

Both teams are back in action on Friday with an Eastern Carolina 2-A home tilt against Ayden-Grifton.
