- Wise Clinches Conference Championship — Rosewood senior linebacker Connor Wise gets the big stop on fourth down and clinches Rosewood’s first conference title since 1999.
- The Miracle on New Hope — Goldsboro sophomore quarterback Deontay Hooker in only his second start on varsity found senior Dorian Rodgers from 40 yards out with 11 seconds left to snap a four-game losing streak against the Warriors, 20-17.
- 74 Yards And A Ticket To Leggett — Northampton’s Na’Jae Newsome went 74 yards to punch the Jaguars’ trip to the 1-A East Finals.
- Edens to Mitchell — On fourth andnine, down 35-27 in the final minutes of the game against arch rival Rosewood, Princeton sophomore runningback was trusted to throw a pass to freshman wideout on a reverse. The pass was perfect and Mitchell caught it and took the Bulldogs inside the red zone.
- Jeffrey Palmer’s Blocked Punt — Corinth Holder’s Jeffrey Palmer blocked a punt in the fourth quarter, which was picked up and returned for a touchdown by Langston Robinson to lead the Pirates to a 21-13 win over Corinth Holders.
- Hampton’s Big Truck — In week three against Southeast Raleigh, Cleveland runningback Omarion Hampton ran for 45 yards and a touchdown while laying into a helpless defender.
- Isaiah Sawyer Weight Rooms Cape Fear — In round one of the NCHSAA playoffs, Isaiah Sawyer made his name known on a wet soggy night by dragging two Cape Fear defenders into the end zone.
- Demari Brockington Interception — West Johnston’s Demari Brockington juggled the ball on the sideline before intercepting it.
- Devon Roesch Acrobatic Catch — Smithfield-Selma’s Devon Roesch made a big grab over two Corinth Holders defenders.
