- Mike Best game-winner against Greenfield — Wayne Country Day newcomer Mike Best knocked down a 3-pointer with four seconds left to clinch the Coastal Plains Independents Conference Tournament Championship. It was just the third time in over two decades that Wayne Country Day defeated arch-rival Greenfield.
- Jy’Kies McLean sends Goldsboro to overtime against Eastern Wayne — The Goldsboro senior drained a 3-pointer as the buzzer sounded to send Goldsboro into overtime against crosstown rival Eastern Wayne. The Cougars would complete the season sweep in overtime as McLean finished with 20 including 13 in the fourth quarter and OT.
- Xavion Atkinson alley oop vs Wayne Country Day — With time winding down Christian Bullock lobbed a pass to Xavion Atkinson, which he slammed down before the buzzer to clinch a 10-point win over Wayne Country Day and reclaim the FCA Christmas Tournament Crown.
- Dylan Bates game winner — With time winding down, CJ Ray narrowly avoided the charge to kick to the wing where sophomore Dylan Bates waited to drain a 3-pointer with 5 seconds left to complete South Johnston’s comeback win over Cleveland.
- Christian Bullock for double OT vs Kinston — With 8 seconds left, Goldsboro inbounded the ball to Christian Bullock who drained a 35-footer to send Goldsboro into double overtime against arch rival Kinston. The Cougars lost in the second OT.
