WJG Sports Football Power Rankings No. 3

Nine weeks of high school football have been completed in the WJG Sports coverage area. In Johnston County, South Johnston defeated county rival West Johnston while Clayton took care of business against East Wake. North Johnston picked up a huge win for their playoff hopes against Farmville Central. 

Cleveland remained in the top spot after another blowout win this time over Smithfield-Selma. Princeton and Rosewood continued their collision course towards their rivalry matchup on November 8th. Greene Central struggled in the second half of their loss to rival Kinston.

C.B. Aycock fell on a last second touchdown pass to J.H. Rose and got bit by the injury bug in the process. Southern Wayne and Eastern Wayne continued their struggles in losses South Central and New Bern respectively. Goldsboro got blown out by Clinton and Corinth Holders dropped a game to 4-A power Wake Forest. In the end. WJG coverage area teams went 6-9 during week nine.
