2 min readGREENSBORO — Spring Creek High alumna Madison Sullivan became the second girls soccer player to play in the North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association East-West All-Star Game from Wayne County on Tuesday in MacPherson Stadium.
The first was her sister Kaitlyn in 2016. Both sisters won the game they played in. Madison was a reserve on the East All-Stars who won 3-2 over the West.
“It’s a really like family thing for us so I’m so happy I got to be a part of it,” Sullivan said. “I learned a lot while I was here and we came out with a win so it was a great experience. I’m glad I got some more footwork in and I got to play with some of the best players in North Carolina.”
Sullivan is also only the fourth player from Spring Creek to ever get selected to a North Carolina Coaches Association All-Star Game. Sullivan ended her senior season with 12 goals and 15 assists. Sullivan ended her four-year career with the Gators having scored 59 goals and 58 assists. Sullivan will be playing college soccer at North Carolina Wesleyan.
