WJG SPORTS FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Princeton’s Seth Blevins

They call him the energizer bunny.
“He’s the energizer bunny for us,” Princeton head coach Travis Gaster said. “He really doesn’t come off the field for us. We expect him to do a lot.”
Senior Seth Blevins was a do it all type of guy for the Bulldogs. Blevins was asked to cover receivers, block on offense and run the ball.
“Seth is an extremely hard worker for us,” Gaster said. “He’s done a great job for four years, and it was really good to see him have that success behind our offensive line. It was pretty special.”
In Week 13, Blevins got eight carries and ran 231 yards to score five touchdowns.
“It felt great man,” Blevins said. “Just running through that hole man, every time it was so big. My o-lineman, it was amazing how hard they were blocking and working and pushing.”
Blevins and the Bulldogs list in week 14, but the senior said he will remember the ride.
“Them rides are a big thing in my mind,” Blevins said. “It might be our last ride, so we got to take in everything. Have fun, make sure we do everything right and just have fun.”
